I got a real chuckle out of this thread. I live in Munroe Falls, right between Stow and Cuyahoga Falls and my son is starting at Akron U this fall. Small world. I've actually had a couple of people ask me why my daughter chose Kent State over Akron U. But around here all I here is "Why is she going so far away?" I am going to miss her!

lauriejo, maybe next time I am over that way we can meet for coffee and quilty talk/time. I won't have a way to sew with you but would love to see some of your projects. I have a good friend that lives in Munroe Falls, she used to be a nurse at Childrens, but is now retired. We bowled together there in Stow for many years. Rosemary worked in the burn center and I always admired her dedication to such a difficult job.
