Probably a dumb question re: shop hop...
...but what IS it? There is a "one stop shop hop" coming up, and I might want to go, but I don't understand exactly what it is. The flyer says "fabric & fun, games & prizes, thirty quilt shops". That's all it says. Ok, so obviously, these 30 shops will set up booths to shop, but is there more to it than that?
Sorry, I've definitely heard of these, but never been to one.
Thanks in advance

a shop hop is where you visit a pre-determined number of participating shops with the opportunity to see free demo's of new tools, check out new fabric lines/patterns, take advantage of sales- often they have prizes, food, ... just an opportunity to check out whats new in the quilting world...a one shop hop generally is a special day planned by one shop so you do not have to travel from shop to shop- some have many (5-12) different shops participating- you purchase a *passport* and have it stamped at each shop you visit- then turn it in at the last shop- to be eligible for a big *door prize* or gift certificate- each shop hop is unique. the on line 'fabshophop' is a free one where you can visit over 100 shops on line, browse, & register for monthly prize drawings.

Certainly not a dumb question, I didn't know what a shop hop was either until I started asking around. Still haven't participated in one but they really do sound neat, don't they. Have fun doing yours and let us know what you think.
