You can search the member list by location, then send a private email:
    1) Click the "Member List" hot spot at the top of this page (it's under the Quilting Board logo)
    2) Click "Search Members" drop down (under ...wxyz) Then select the Advanced Search option
3)Use the Location box to search for towns in your area.
This is also a good techinque to know when planning a vacation!

I drive to Atlanta 4 days a week and go thru Cobb County. Are you working on a quilt now? I have several going at one time.

Yes several. We are close to 285. Do you ever have time on Fridays? Nifty quilt shop 1.8 miles from here. I go there to work on things with very compatible women

Hi Hollanders. I also live in Chatsworth at the foot of Ft. Mountain. Would love to be your quilting friend. Do you know of any quilting groups in our area without driving to Dalton?
    Maybe we could start one!

Hello. I split my time between Emerson (just south of Cartersville) and Rising Fawn. I also teach at the shop in Mableton. It is a lovely shop, everyone is so friendly.

I'm from Macon so a bit too far. However, you should definitely check out the East Cobb Quilt Guild. They have a large membership and bring in a lot of national speakers. Enjoy making new buddies!

There is a Wonderful quilting store and quilting community in Rome, GA called The Stitchery that is not too far from you. Susan and Stephanie are Great!!! Check out their website. They have a commitment and love for education and offer such a variety of classes. They were featured in Fall/Winter 2017 issue of Quilt Sampler as a Top 10 Shop. I live about 3 hours away from Rome and a few of my friends and I make the trip to take classes about once/twice a year; in fact, we are attending the Georgia Sewing Workshop in September.
