I don't want to mislead you, not all vendors discount their products. There are a few that do get low, nearly selling out but I can't remember the names. Some vendors bring so much stuff, or are high priced or of limited interest...they have lots left on Sunday. Plus remember I haven't been at Road the last 2 yrs, things may have changed.

One of my favorites is a fabric shop out Buellton CA
http://www.thecreationstation.com/store/
They used to sell fabrics for $5yd but I see from their website they've raised them to $6...maybe more at a quilt show. What is nice, they put the fabrics in bins by 'theme'.

Thanks Sue. I think I will just decide what class(es) I want to take and go from there. It's supposed to be fun, so I'm not going to worry about getting any discounts

There are lots and lots of places to have a "meeting" in the area! That won't be a problem. I think that we should have it close to the show, only because public transportation really stinks in these parts, and if you don't have your own car, you might be stuck at the hotel or the quilt show. I wonder how many people would like to get together?? :-( :-(

Creation Station sells at the show for the same as at the shop. :D Only difference is that at the show, it's all pre-cuts, none by-the-yard. They are wonderful & have a terrific e-newsletter too, it always makes me smile. :^)
