I'm going this year for the first time, we are getting on at Lexington KY. They say take water, sunscreen and something to carry everything in. Our friend is driving so I plan to sit in the back seat and English paper piece on the way. Will post a few pics when we get back.

I wish I could go, it sounds great. It's just a little to far for me to go. Please let us know what great buys you get.

OMG. I have never heard of this before. Is it the same time every year? I love yard/garage sales. This would be so much fun. How would you bring all the stuff back that you bought? LOL Can anyone here tell us about some of the things you found when you went before? I live in Arkansas and right now it is 100 degrees with humidity of 108-110. Why are these things always in the hottest part of the summer?
