someone said" beauty is in the eye of the beholder..I guess
that's so, some of them you cant even see what they are or what they represent. Im just sayin>

Personally, I think the word outrageous is a negative and refers that artists shouldn't be paid for their skills and one of a kind art. Art is worth what people who love it, will pay. I can't afford $15,000 art, but others sure can.

I think if you compare the prices to what you might pay for a good oil or watercolour or a craftsman built piece of furniture, they are not excessive. Many people collect art, so there is certainly a market for this. I enjoyed looking at them, whilst not in my price-range, I do appreciate the originality and artistry involved.

They are unique, However, That style of quilt art wouldn't be what the average home/collector would normally look for. Their are many on GB , that are more appealying. Tinker

This one reminds me of Kaffe Fasset designs...except it's all pieced silk!

And I agree..."outrageous" makes it seem like they're out of line. I can't imagine how many hours went into each one...while I couldn't drop $3k on this masterpiece, I'm sure it's worth every penny!
