I will be demoing the Handi Quilter machines at Shields Sewing Center, Fri. Sat. and Sunday. They are doing an event with embroidery, sewing and quilting. If any of you are close by stop by and say hi. If you can recommend any thing to do around there, I am arriving a day early. Will try to see some local quilt shops early Friday in the Cedar Rapids area.

When are you getting into Iowa City? I will be in Iowa City on Thurs aft. My DH has an eye doctor appt at the VA at 1:30. Are you coming in Thurs or Fri?

Not sure what time I am arriving. I have an 8 hour drive from S. Indiana. It all depends how many times I stop and stretch.
