Just finished this last night for my DIL's shower this afternoon. Her name will be Isabella and I wanted to make a larger quilt that she can use at least through her toddler years. This is an exciting time since my DIL had 2 ectopic pregnancies before this one. And this is her first so in about 6 weeks we will welcome Baby Bella.

Love the colors! Congrats on the quilt and especially for Isabella. Having had 1 baby, 1 pre-term and 6 second-tri miscarriages, I know what a true miracle Bella is. Be sure to post pictures of Bella after she makes her grand entrance.

It's called "Sea Glass" designed by Karen Montgomery, owner of The Quilt Company in Allison Park, PA. (near Pittsburgh) I loved the "sherbert" colors as well as batiks so this was a perfect combination. http://www.thequiltcompany.com/

That's a beautiful quilt. I love your choice and placement of fabric and colors. Congrats on the new grandchild. She'll cherish the quilt for years to come.

BTW - We also have a new grandchild named Isabella.
