Very pretty! After you pieced the patches and pinwheels did you throw them back into a bag and mix; then sew them together as you pulled from bag or purposely lay them out on design board first? I'm still trying to get myself to give up control and do a scrappy quilt, but every time I see one it looks so good that I think I've still got to plan part of the process.

The only planning part is just trying to keep the light and dark scraps evenly dispersed within the blocks. When I completed the blocks, I put them up on the design wall, if there was too much of one color in one area, I would swap it with another block. You can go crazy like that, you just have to make yourself let go ;-)
