Haha I'd looove a sewing buddy Pam! I don't know anybody around me that sews... just my mom's old friends in CT from when I was learning (14 years ago!) so I'd love to meet some people in person. Maybe I could visit you when I get around to visiting my Dad, he lives in St. Louis and that's much closer to you than where I live in California.

"MEOW" !!! That little girl will be sew happy to have this quilt! It looks fine with the white thread, looks like it's suppose to be that way with the black & white fabric you used. What a nice way to spend your day off!

Well it's officially hers now! Sweet little girl was so excited about the quilt that immediately she had to put it on the floor next to her baby brother's floor blanket. Currently Mama bear, daddy cat, and baby hippo stuffed animals are snuggling on it. SUCCESS!!! Oh and her mom was complimenting me on the colors and how well it's constructed so she can just toss it in the washer and not worry about treating it delicately.

Ahhh there's nothing better than a thoughtful gift that I'm proud of and is well recieved.
