"curves" lap quilt top finished

oh instructions. well i made it up but there are quilt blocks made like this. it is easy.
just take a square for background, take another and fold it like a triangle-place it in one corner of your bkgrd square, baste the raw edges or pin in place.
i made four of them and sewed together two at a time to make a "four patch" block.
then take the fold of the added "triangle" piece and fold it back in a curve and stitch in place. Just play around.
Mexican star block is one i know of that uses this "curve" and many more that look difficult but aren't.

see? you can just tack the center of the curve down instead of stitching the whole curve.
