Is it me? or am I just not getting the whole picture here? And to answer your question, No I have never done machine quilting nor have I done hand quilting, just hand tied quilts so far but I wanting to learn and I have to teach myself since I have no one the help me with that.

On this quilt I worked each 16in block separately but without a break, but the borders are done in one round too. On traditionally pieced quilts I like to try and free motion to "suit" the fabric and pieced design.
