oh your quilt turned out beautifully and the boarder is such a nice touch. I have the same book and have been eyeing the same quilt for a while now. I often wondered what the jelly roll you used looked like, so thank you so much for previewing it for me, cause I just might duplicate it!

Indeed, it is! Does your husband quilt, too? :D
Good grief, NO! He is a manufacturing engineer. He thinks sewing is magic. The man can design an entire machine to produce precision parts by the zillions, yet thinks it's amazing for someone to whip up a skirt on a sewing machine. I guess we all have our talents. (And he does a all my math!)

That is just gorgeous. The 2 extra hours were well worth the effort. And now that you've made that template, you can re-use it and it won't take as long the next time.

When I first looked, I thought you'd posted a photo from the book you mentioned!!!!   :D I had to go back and read again to see it wasa actually YOUR quilt. (BTW your photography is as great as your quilting.)

It's absolutely stunning Eddie and I love the scallopped border - gotta try that! And thanks for the tip on cutting the binding on the bias! :D
