$35.00 quilt
#43

I love this, in fact, I love everything about it.....the story, the fabrics, the wisdom of the daughter (she knew her mother would approve and appreciate), the pattern, the quilting, and you for taking the opportunity to make something very special. A wonderful tribute to a lady who loved fabrics so much so that she was on a lifetime mission to collect extraordinary ones. Thank you for sharing.

A lady in my quilt guild collected antique fabric for years. She was known to talk her way into many an attic! She passed away with a basement full of yards and yards and pieces for antique fabric. Her daughter- also a quilter decided to throw an antique quilt party. For $35. you could go and cut out any size quilt you wanted to. This is my finished queen size quilt. I used antique white muslin(also included with fabric) for the backing -non scrimed wool batting( batting was a gift) and I hand quilted it. It has the softest drape and I love it !!

And thank you to suern3 for posting how to upload pics from you iphone. WOOHOO !!!
