    Thanks! Yes, I was thrilled to learn I could get a ruler foot for my machine. It's a little trickier with a DSM as it doesn't have the clearance I have on my Sweet 16 so the fmq foot will hit on the ruler if not positioned to the side. I also found that the foot moved a bit on the attachment, but if you have your lines drawn out on your fabric, you just follow them. I wouldn't attempt it without drawing them out, as accuracy would be an issue. The other thing is the field of view on my DSM isn't as clear with all of the parifernalia compared to my Sweet 16, but it's nice to be able to quilt with a ruler just the same 😀👍.
