I am making 3 Log Cabin quilts for my boys using only antique cotton fabrics. This is my first block and I'm psyched!!! :D
I'm going to make them different patterns by the placement of the blocks, one of the many things I like about Log Cabin. Chain piecing can be a problem b/c of the sizes and shapes of the fabrics I'm working with. I'm also concerned I won't have enough for all 192 blocks.. If anyone has any cottons ca.1860-1920 or so and would like to sell them pleeeeeze pm me! They need to be strong enough, as you can imagine- this is not an easy find! But it's fun finding them!
    Thanks!!!

Good looking start, can tell they're antique from the pattern style. Keep showing your progress please.
