Me 2. She had surgery in 2009. I had cut it out for me to do. She was not able to sit at the quilting frame. I had been there helping her.....my sister is Down Syndrome, 50 now, and it is 2 fronts when Mother is down. Any way I left my quilt for her to piece. She mailed it to me in pieced blocks. I was knee deep in projects(as usual) and told her she sent it back to soon, so I gave it back to her to finish. When she was better, she finished completely with hand quilting. Later I went for a visit.........It was on her table looking just gorgeous. SHE GRINNED AT ME AND SAID, YOU CAN"T HAVE THIS ONE BACK. We have quilted with so many people and Mother has beautiful quilts, Mary Lou, my sister of the heart, who has been with us in so many hard places, put her name on it to go to her when we no longer have our Mother. So I really did loose it. I am looking for the pattern again. Mother is MaryLou's Mother of the heart. Just a funny story, thank youfor letting me share it.

They are all gorgeous! I like the one your mother hand pieced. The colors are brilliant and the quilting looks exquisite. I also like the puppy quilt. Where did you get the pattern?
Thanks for sharing.
