Yes Rachel, that is corrent. They navy wash the 5th square used to make the block. I think on this one I used a little elmers glue to hold the colored window panes in place while I machine stitched them down.

Thank you and all the rest who have commented about the fabrics I used. I think that was the first time I purchased fabrics from 1000's of Bolts using their color picker. It was right on, and I got a good match to the flowers in the background piece.

One of the prettiest I have seen for this pattern. Love the dark outline around the diamonds. Did you use inserts to get the color inside the dark frame?
