I always love seeing your watercolors. You have a very good eye for colors and what goes well together. Can't wait to see your next creations.

Are your tone on tone lights florals too? I can't tell even when I enlarge it. As always, I love your florals. Hugs and smiles,

I read once that for the watercolor effect, one needs to avoid fabrics that have a light background with dark flowers, and dark background with light flowers. So, low contrast. Other than that, it's just eye and what you like. I tend to stick to florals that are tiny to 2-3"--and the big ones only work if there are a lot of smaller flowers mixed in. Look for the work "packed" in the description. Just have a reason for why one is going by another. As long as you can explain it, it ought to work. ;-)

Hi Linda--do you mean the lights? The lights are not florals-they are usually light green of some kind--some have leaves, but every fabric on the "dark" side is a floral.
