A fabulous team effort! I love the comfort quilts and sure the recipients of them will be thrilled. Bless you all for thinking of the wheelchair bound patients.

What a sweet thing to do. I remember when my grandma was in assisted living and there were some that were very lonely...God Bless and Merry Christmas!

I wonder if these could be made with fleece....just cut out and blanket stitch the edge...would that work ladies???????????They would work up faster, and easier for the recipient to handle.....lightweight, easy to clean ????????????

My DSIL used up the bits and pieces that we had left over from doing several of these, kind of like the jelly roll race quilt, sewed them end to end, then cut them to size. She also used leftover bindings for a scrappy binding. We used 10 yds of fabric that she had planned for the back of her bed quilt, then decided she hated it. We used John Flynn's diagonal backing when we were just a tad short on backing fabric. We are looking for something to do next year, starting right after Jan 1, not October. So if you have any ideas, please let me know.
Do you have a Veterans Home nearby. I am sure they would love some of those.

Thumbs up Comfort Wraps

I love these. I'm 68 and have been collecting material for years. This would be a great way to use much of it. I could probably do the measuring myself, but would like to know yours. I think even my husband would like one. He is cold natured. Yours are wonderful. liz
