    #13 Quilt by -----------Jingle

This a quilt to use up some fabric I have had for several years. It is the dark teal floral. I had two pieces, I have some of this piece left and another piece. I didn't have any colors to really go with it. I just picked out some I thought looked good with it. 1. is it --2. is a little closer --- 3. is a close up.
    Thanks for looking.

Your choice of the yellow took all the focus off the focus fabric, and brought it right to the yellow - great effect. I have lots of florals (80's!) that I need to do this sort of thing with to use some of those up...thanks for the idea! Great quilt!

Sometimes having to use what we have on hand leads to some unusual but interesting results. Your pink fabric would not have been a colour that I would have thought to use with your focus fabric but it looks good and it works. I think often quilters worry too much about matching and it often isn't necessary.

The pink and the yellow together just glow, sort of like sunrise!

Beautiful quilt. The yellow gives the quilt just the perfect balance to the floral print.

Thanks everyone for the nice words. I'm usually a matchy-matchy person but can't always have the right colors. I tend to buy what I like and never buy all for a quilt at the same time.

Nice balance of lights and darks! Your color sense is excellent! (I'm jealous!!!)

That's a wonderful quilt... the best part is that you used what you already had.
