I've had my machine for about a year and typically I do pantographs, but I want to learn to do freehand custom. So I decided to take this top that I got at an auction and do some custom work on it. It is not the best but it looks pretty good for the first one, I think.

No it's not my first quilting, but it is my first time doing a custom design on a quilt. Normally I just do pantographs, follow a design, but I want to do more custom so that is what I did on this one. I can follow a pantograph pretty good, so I guess that helped me with some of the custom work.

I did use a straight edge ruler and some circles to help me complete this.
