I don't think your feathers are so humble, I think they're darn good as well as the piecing. I understand your feelings of not wanting to display "Your First" as a wall hanging but I think your DH's very proud of you and HIS quilt. Maybe you can make a wall hanging one day and tell him he can hang that one for everyone to see. Maybe DH will understand your not wanting your first try on display because you want to perfect your FMQ a little more. :-D :-D :-D

What mistakes are you talking about? That is beautiful!!!! I still havn't started my 1st quilt yet. Have been so darn busy with life. I hope I do do as well as you did. Who cares what others think anyway. I would like to see them do as good.
