    I'm so sorry for your loss. It's really hard to lose your Mom, mine passed in '07 and I still miss her at times. I love the quilting you did in this quilt. Sometimes we need a good challenge to get our creative juices going again.

    I've always admired those who can do this pattern. Your colors are beautiful. Sorry about your mom. Just take it one day at a time and remember that you can always find help on this board.

    Lovely, lovely quilt. Quilting can help you work through the grief but only in your own time and your own way. After my only brother died suddenly, when I finally got back to quilting several months later, it helped with the healing process. Keep those quilts coming; your Mom would be proud and happy.
