Steph
Congratulations on entering your quilt in the show, Aunt Dot needs a well earned pat on the back.
We are constantly being told at out Guild Group to enter our quilts into the shows. So far I haven't had enough nerve. Afterall without all the participants there wouldn't be any shows for us all to visit.
Keep us updated with the progress please.

Thanks everyone! I never would have thought to enter one myself....much too nervous that my work would not be "good" enough, but now I know how exciting it is to see my quilt hung up there, and I just may enter one on my own up here in MN!! Thanks for all the compliments!

Cool! Congrats!!!
Your first entry in a quilt show! Can't wait to hear how it turns out.
Your quilt is very pretty, but I think you already know that.
Your aunts Spinning Star is awesome! I have the pattern and will do it one of these days. Just have to get brave enough for it.

How exciting for you to have a quilt in a show! What a nice thing to do! And I agree that I would be too nervous about being judged!
I do put quilts in our local guild shows, but have never been brave enough for anything beyond that. We do have award winning quilters in the group, but I know them! :?

Oh, Steph--this is so exciting!!! I think it is so neat that your parents wanted your father's quilt in the show too. Now you know just exactly how proud of you they are for making such a masterpiece for him. It looks wonderful hanging there!! I wish you could go to the show and see it in person.
Your aunt's quilt is great too. If I were just a little closer, I would run over today and take in the show.
Thank you sooooo much for sharing this fun and exciting news with us.
