Default 2 more scrappies

The top one is the MSQC Big Star pattern. In her video Jennie shows how to make a 24" star, mine in this quilt is 20" and I left out the sashings. (I made one last summer with 18" blocks and put in sash and cornerstones). So easy to change size in this pattern. It has been washed with a color grabber, and love the crinkled look. The stars were meandered with red thread, the background meandered with white.

The bottom one was from a fat quarter bundle given to me by a friend. I was going to make pinwheels like the one made last week by Alva Stitcher but when I laid them together in pinwheels, they were just a mish-mash of seemingly unmatched pattern. So this seemed to work better. The red border is a red-rosy pink with pink tiny triangles. It too was from the FQ bundle, but putting the red HSTs in the quilt looked like a mistake, and think it works for the border. I still need to quilt it. After a nap, I think!

Thanks for looking.

Judy, the star pattern quilt is just beautiful, from fabric to quilting. Love how it makes a secondary pattern.

What a vivid FQ bundle to work with. Good job! Rest well now
