Thank you everyone for the great comments. I was totally afraid to start the Log Cabin. I was totally surprised how easy it was. I used Eleanor Burns book.

Both are beautiful. I love the soft look of the 30's fabrics, and the touch of red really sets off the quilt.

Leaders and Enders-This is very neat. If you already use a leader and an ender why not create something as you are already using these scrap fabrics. Check these quilts out! Beautiful and the fabric was not wasted and you created an extra quilt while
