    2 quilts for SMA

Our godson's son was recently diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) at 2 years old. He is not able to walk and they are not sure of his prognosis. Right now there is no cure for this nasty disease. They joined a support group and received a lovely package which included a quilt. So I decided to make 2 to donate for this cause. There is the ABC panel and X's and O's

Ditto to what has been said. They will find much help in the support group. Prayers are with them. BrendaK

Beautiful quilts--sure to give comfort. Don't know anything about this disease, but I do understand no cure. We can hope and pray one is on the horizon.

Thanks so much for the kind words and prayers. They are hoping his braces will help him plus doing walking exercises in the water at the Y. Cooper is the sweetest and smartest little guy. Breaks our heart. But here is where the prayers come.

What a sad diagnoses, especially for a 2 year old. My prayers go out to his parents and family. The quilts are a wonderful idea to pay it forward.
