    Both quilts were made from 1 1/2" cut squares. I sewed these together using them as leader clothes at the beginning of seams. I also did some in strips. A good way to use up scraps that would just be thrown. I just love a purpose for all fabric.

    I like your pattern on your postage stamp. I did a postage stamp about a year ago (48 x 72) and swore I'd never do another! Now that I've had time to recover, I'm thinking of doing one for myself. Thanks for sharing and for your generosity.

    Mary - I LOVED these when I saw them on the Scrappy Quilt thread! It amazes me how you kept all those little itty bitty squares so accurately lined up. I just completed a small 16" square quilt with all 1" squares and it just about drove me crazy. So a big congratulations to you!

    Fabulous. The very large green sashing gives this postage stamp a very contemporary look. Very cool. The first one is very traditional so ou have the best of both worlds.
