This was a BOM from 2010 I found on the internet. It took so long because the one posting the instructions did not follow her own schedule. My bee has a few fairly new quilters who do much better than they give themselves credit for. I suggested we all do this BOM to help them learn new skills as the blocks got progressively harder as the year went on. So far I am the only one who has completed my blocks. Now it needs to be quilted. (I'll quilt this one by check) The fabrics were purchased at Hobby Lobby. They were all nice quality fabrics. I had no problem with any of them.

I love the colors in this. Each block stands alone with its design, yet all compliment each other. Nice job!

You did a wonderful job on this. Love the black and tan color scheme. I also like the term "quilt by check" gave me a giggle.

It is beautiful. And it looks very familiar to me. I suspect it's the same block of the month my new quilt guild is working on. We are just doing it this year. At the last meeting we received the directions for the last two blocks. We are supposed to finish the top over the summer and bring it to our September meeting for show and tell. Help.........
