My kids each received a quilt for Christmas last year. It's sometimes hard to know what to get for them with the economy the way it is and besides money I wanted to give them something special. My step daughter collects nutcrackers, my daughter collects snowmen and my son's wife makes wonderful goodies at Christmas time. So each quilt has a special meaning.

very pretty, the lighter 'stripes' on the cookies quilt reminds me of snow.

This year I will be making quilts for me. Out of the 15 or so that I have made since Jan 2010, I still don't have one finished that I can call mine.....need to finish 2 log cabins, one a Christmas quilt and the other a Halloween quilt. Will post pictures when done.
Have 2 others to finish getting binding on for grandaughters, still working on 1 more for another grandaughter plus 2 more for grandsons. When all 5 quilts are done, they will get them.
