When I looked at them, those are the two fabrics that caught my eye also!

    Love all of them though.

Years ago I made my daughter a black and white quilt and it took me forever to find any to use. Now look at all the goodies you have, this is great!

I too have an overabundance of B & W fabrics in my stash. What pattern are you going to use?

Good question! I was going to do something like this, (I just folded material atop to get idea. Anyone know the name of this. I have looked all over internet and found nothing like it which is just too hard to believe.) http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...7-photo-1-.jpg

But.....now I am leaning towards this. Inside the article is a link to a free ebook with the pattern but the directions are confusing to me. I am almost done playing around with making into paper pieced pattern for finished 8' squares. I would not have all one background, of course. And if did do this pattern would throw in a pale yellow or turquoise square here and there. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...7-photo-1-.jpg

But then there is this one, http://www.vanillalattequilts.com/SquareMixUpQuilt.jpg

I am limiting my options to about a list of never-ending as I have lots of cool 1.5" strips I want to use, too. I don't help my decision by googling images for terms like, "black and white quilt" or "funky black and white quilt" or "Paper-pieced squares and ribbons". But one morning I will awake, sit down, and just start one. Like someone said upstream there is fun in the deciding!
