Wow! I am impressed! I was 8 yrs old when I made my 1st dress (with mom's help of course) but quilts intimidated me until I was about 50! Your DGD has a lifetime of fun ahead of her!

She did a beatuiful job on her quilt! I love to hear about kids learning to sew. It is a "life skill" she will enjoy for the rest of her life. Her time with Grandma is special, too. Thanks for teaching her and thanks for sharing it with us.

my 14 year old granddaughter no longer wants to piece, just longarm...so use caution!!! BTW...your granddaughter did a great job
