I am in awe of your beautiful quilting; well done having the courage to try some new FMQ line work without rulers. I am so jealous of your skills!

Thank you! It looks good from a galloping horse, as 'they' say, but really, I do not have any sort of consistency in my quilting, except to be inconsistent! I always say my quilts are very 'Organic' . Plus, I do not have the patience to tie off thread ends and bury them and rip out mistakes unless they are horrendous. I don't worry overly about thread build up. I attempt to get my quilt to turn out square throughout the creation process, but I can't sweat the small stuff. I admire show quilters tenacity in creating near perfect quilts from a judges standpoint, but that will never be me. I do however, enjoy the challenge of trying new designs and trying to emulate those show quilters to the best of my own abilities with the above caveat. .

Second quilt? Wowsa! My plan is to retire in two years, and my first purchase will be a LA. My only hope is that my 102nd will look as good as yours does, now.

Thank you and good for you! It is so much fun! Practice, practice, practice on your DSM or whatever you have now, the skills are transferable!
