Lawsonmugs...A little hint about using the iron...I like to have a straight pin (I actually use a large T pin) for if the stone doesn't want to come off the iron; stick the pin into the slot on the bottom of the iron, push down on the stone & hold it there while you lift the iron. It will keep the stone where you want it. I also have a silicone thimble that once I have the stone down, I press the stone for a second to set it (like using a "clapper" to set a seam). I also have tweezers for putting the stone down where I want it, then put the iron on top of it, count to 10 in a normal manner, then set with thimble. I have been known to use a regular thimble when I can't find the other one. DON'T use your finger unless you want to get burned! I found out a long time ago, if I didn't "set" the stone it had a tendancy to come off in the wash. Now, I seldom lose one. Once you get used to using the thing you're going to find all kinds of things to use it on to glitz up!!! It's a fun thing..........hope this helps you for your first time using it.
