Well not really. I just stitched from the seam line the width of my accufeed foot. I think it's called shadow quilting. I use poly batting so I don't have to quilt really closely lest it fall apart.

I especially like the 1st quilt....probably because it has lots of little squares. I like how you made the backs on your QAYG....a great idea. Very nice
