So do you think Santa will bring her her very own sewing machine one year? Very cute little lady and pillow. She looks so proud.

And I see she will fit right in with the rest of us who sew in our jammies. She is such a sweetie. I am so glad that you are teaching her to sew. We can never teach our children too young or too many life skills. When a child shows interest, that is the best time to introduce them to new found fun that they can grow with.
You did a beautiful job on your pillow. Maybe next time you can make a few more blocks and make your doll a warm blanket. Hugs to you both

That is darling little project and a darling sew-er. Love nine patch and that was my very first pattern I did...though she started a little earlier than I did. I'm hoping I can get my now 3 1/2 year old great niece interested in sewing in the years to come. Might need to get her a little machine of her own........thanks so much for sharing..........

what a precious child!!! and I think it is wonderful you are teaching her how to learn this skill early on..I wish that I had not been so rebellious as a child when my grandmother wanted to teach me ....and those pillows are adorable..Happy New Year and Blessings to you!

Okay when a 3yo does a better job than me its time to back up and punt.

She is absolutely precious and I think she did an amazing job on her project, I bet she will win her first quilt show before 6.

You think she would tutor me and how much does she charge?
