Default 30's Playtime Jelly Roll from Moda

This was my project this week. I used a 6.5 inch snowball and 6.5 inch 9 patch to make this twin size quilt. I love the 30 and 40's fabrics....a blast from my past. The quilts I grew up with were not works of art but items to keep us warm. Mama and Grandma used lots of muslin (feed sacks, sugar and flour sack) and any scraps from clothing sewing. This quilt makes me smile

Great quilt it makes me smile too. I love the 30's and 40's reprints I'm working on a collection of them for a farmers wife sampler quilt.
