This is my first 3D Pinwheel Quilt inspired by Sheree from Chicago when she posted her 3D Pinwheel Quilt. This is also my first FMQ and thanks to all the posts from people on this board I finally got up the nerve to "just do it" on the FMQ. I also halfed my bow tucks mini purse in half and made the baby a little purse. I didn't put pockets on the inside as it is small enough. Thanks for looking.

Susan, how did the quilting go?? I'm still scared to try it! LOL- love the quilt. I want to do those 3D pinwheels too! :D
Both projects you did are great! :D
Sue

Quilting looks great - what I meant was how hard??? Or not?? :)

I messed up my post and didn't get the whole quilt down but you can see up close what I did. I bought a plug in table dimmer switch to slow my machine down per colleen53. My machine is 38 yrs old and I was afraid of going too fast. When I saw her post on the board, I went and bought one and it slowed my machine slow enough until I got comfortable meandering. I have a lot to learn. I practiced on paper first, but and then samples, but what I kept reading was to "just do it" as that's the best way to learn. I felt pretty good when I just about done. I also went to Leah Day's website and watched her do some of her FMQ videos. Now, Just Do It, and stop if you get tired. Best wishes!
