    and the 3rd one

this one is for my niece's upcoming in May High School graduation.
a bit too much quilting that gets lost in this quilt but it was a good FMQ lesson and proof that I can do it.
still lots to learn about FMQ.

I pin it using long pins and cut up erasers, it works for me

    thanks for looking

Your niece is going to love her quilt - you did a terrific job. The quilting really shows up nicely on the back!

pretty quilt and quilting! The cut-up eraser is a very clever idea! i am going to have to try it. I really want to learn to FMQ and just need to jump in and do it. I've been so afraid to try!!

I like everything about your quilt. I was trying to imagine what the purpose was for "cut up" erasers. Now I see and I think it's a great idea!

There is always more to learn about freemotion quilting. I love the heart with the e's border. I will have to put that on my list to try.

Nice quilt. I was so intrigued when I read what you said about cut-up erasers and pins. Didn't quite "get it" until you showed the close up picture. Very novel idea. May try it one day (if I remember) Thanks for sharing.
