Default 3rd quilt is finished and hanging

Yesterday I finished sewing and this morning I hung my 3rd quilt. I had posted a request for ideas on how to quilt it when I first finished the top and received some wonderful ideas. Then I joined up with the Virtual Quilting Weekend to get it done and received more wonderful pointers. Having a community of such generous quilters is so helpful for a new quilter.

This is a wall hanging for my livingroom. It is a Bargello and I ended up quilting in gentle curves with a walking foot following the curves of the fabric. You cannot really see the quilt lines on the photo of it hanging so I am including a picture of where it is quilted but not finished. I am pleased with how this cam out. The hanging was completely sewn on my Singer 15-88 treadle machine.

I like how that turned out. I love the curve of the quilting. It's perfect for the curve of the pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Echoing the above comments and intrigued by your using a treadle machine!! Now that's the kind of "exercise" I would do!

Whoops, I realized Imposted the wrong picture and can't find a way to edit the post. This shows the quilt completely quilted, just not trimmed and with binding.

Thank you for all of your kind comments:-)

Love the pattern, colors, the way that it's quilted and where it's hanging. You did good. BrendaK
