Your sewing machine cover is beautiful Granny_59 - I'm thinking of making one for my Brother Disney 4000D which has the embroidery unit on the side, but so far have written down the measurements and that's as far as I've got - a lady in Alaska made one, shown in Creative Expressions magazine in August 2009 and she was inundated with interest so has yet to draft the pattern for us - magazine gave her contact details but she didn't expect such a huge response and is a busy teacher of many classes. I did send her a follow-up message last week with my new email address.

I'll bet you make nice bread making machine and toaster covers too

Love your sewing machine cover. I've always been drawn to Sunbonnet Sue.

Hi Ada

NO I dont...............otherwise DH would kill me  He was shaking his head more than ones during my sewing. But tonight my 3year old grandson was delighted.
It is not so hard to get your own pattern. For the cover of my embroidery machine I just cutted the approximate sides from cheap muslin and taped it to the machine. After altering a couple of times I sewed the pieces together, altered again and then I cutted it apart and had the pattern.
For the serger, the coverlock and the sewing machine I just cut the plastic covers apart.

WOW Fabulous quilting job! On a bigger piece, you do the same thing just one section at a time.
