    4 crayons sewn

Here are my pink, red, orange and yellow crayons. I will attach my green, blue and mauvey/ purple next week. I am leaning towards lighter shades of purple because I want a good contrast with the black sashing.Name: image.jpg

Thank you for posting your progress, I have been following along. I think I will have to make one to use up my scraps that I have not cut up yet but just recently sorted them by color. I will have a nice group to pick from. Did you post that you are using 2 x 5 1/2 ?Otherwise, I have my strips cut by size.

Oh, I do like it with the black for sure. I have a crayon quilt in my queue of "gotta try" patterns.

I cut my pieces 2-1/2 X 5-1/2 but use the size that fits your scraps. I wanted a smaller size quilt and it will be approx 37 inches X 54 inches with the 2inch black sashing between the crayons and on the ends. I haven't decided if that will be the final measurement or if I will add a border.
