4 new kennel quilts heading for Oklahoma shelter
#42
Our hearts go out to all in OK that have lost so much. My family is there, and fortunately they were just north and west of all the havok. I can't imagine having to search for my furbabies after such a disaster. You are doing a great service. Thank you from all the owners of these missing pets

What a great idea on making kennel quilts!! My son is a veterinarian and has a clinic in Shawnee, OK called Dogwood Veterinary Hospital. His clinic was not hit by the tornado on May 19th thank God. He said he had calls from people who had found dogs with his phone number on the dogs rabies tag. Hopefully he can find the owners.
But kennel quilts make more sense to me since I've been wanting to try FMQ on something larger than hot pads. Now I think I'll use scraps and make some kennel quilts. I'm sure the pets won't care if I goof up on FMQ occassionally and I can use up scraps which I already have way too many of.
