I hate ripping things out, but I would do a dark red right next to the blocks and then do your lighter border and then bind it in red. But that's just me.

I think your quilt is very pretty as is, but I also think another border in the red would be pretty. I am curious as to why it was a nightmare to make. I have been thinking of making a tube quilt and would like to know more about your experience. I certainly wouldn't want to take on something I might regret.

Very, very pretty pattern and quilt. I would add a thin border in red and then another big border in the brown.

I'd add a 1" (1/2" sewn) white and then a red the same size as the beige

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I like it!!! I would put a red border, then bind with the neutral color. Love that pattern.
