Default 6" Drunkards path two tone

I needed a major distraction this week and thought making something I've never done before would do the trick. I had just enough of two different fabrics both in green and white to make this large throw. The green is Painter Palette vy J. Wecker Frish abd the white with green is a Moda fabric from Bonnie and Camille. I used the Cut Rite Drunkards Path templates and thought it was easier than I expected. I'll use Cinnamon & Cream by Joanne Figuerua for Fig Tree & Co. for the backing and a plain green for the binding. Not sure what quilting pattern will be used yet, but willl try to do it myself. Colors are brighter than pictures appear.

That is so pretty and restful to the eyes. :-) Also good to know that the Drunkards Path block isn't as intimidating as it appears!

Wow, I adore the beautiful simplicity of this and the backing is a perfect match, I love it! Congratulations on a beautiful finish!

The green and white is so calming and the backing is beautiful with it. The green binding will finish it off perfectly. Your "diversion project" turned out to be a beautiful success.

Your quilt is spectacular! I love sewing Drunkard's Path Blocks. It makes such a lovely quilt that it really needs a more appealing name. Once you get the knack, it really isn't a difficult block to make.

Nice job on the blocks. That's one block I haven't tried yet though I have the templates. I'm always worried I won't be able to stitch the curve correctly though I've watched a number of vidoes on how easy it really is. How easy/hard was it for you around those curves?

What a beautiful diversion with gorgeous fabrics too. I've never tried curves so I'm glad to know they weren't a challenge.
