This was combined effort with a friend ( Carol). We have known the recipeient (Jenny) for nearly 40 years. Her only aptitude for handwork is longstitch. The look on her face was priceless. The flow on effect wasn't. She ended up redecorating her bedroom around the quilt. I machiine embroidered towels for ensuite to match. It was fun doing a joint project. Because of my back and RA Carol cut it out. I sewed most of the patchwork and some construction. Carol quilted it. We were happy with. Pattern came from august 2009 Quilting and Stitiches
