A very beautiful scrappy quilt. What a challenge but worth it. Love the quilt
I hope you were sewing with a machine and not by hand. Wow. That is a lot of tiny pieces. You have a lot more patience than I do. It's definitely a keeper - you've put so much work into it and deserve to keep it.
Magnificent
I have done 5000 piece jigsaw puzzles, but can't imagine a quilt with 7000 pieces.
Are you still speaking to your mom?!! It's beautiful! I think this is what is meant by the "patience of Job".
What a challenge. I had planned to do that with 10,000 different pieces of fabric, but have chickened out. Just not into that much work, I guess. I admire you for doing it with diamonds!!!! Beautiful quilt.
Gorgeous! What is the total size of the quilt?
That is beautiful! What patience!!!
O M G what a quilt! What patience you must have. I admire your determination.

Holy Moly! That is beautiful and special!
That's a lot of little pieces! You have more patience than I have. But.... It is one amazingly beautiful quilt. Enjoy!
WOW! That is beautiful! I love making scrappy, but cannot even imagine tackling this one. Super job of cutting and cutting, and cutting, and then sewing and sewing, and sewing some more. WONDERFUL! I don't blame you for keeping this one!
Yep, it's a keeper, that's for sure!!
This quilt is 72 inches by 96 inches. Worked on it off and on for a year. It was sewed together by machine. It will be one of a kind, my next small piece quilt will be squares.Originally Posted by ljorange
