Try donating at a homeless shelter. The knit fabric will keep them warm and it will last-(and boy does it last!).

I had the blue and pink bellbottoms! :)

Far out! I love the vibrant colors and the pattern too. I could amost make a pair of bell-bottoms with it.

I have a lap quilt that someone made for my step dad while he was in nursing home. The colors are still beautiful and it's sooooo warm. I have some old double knit and I'm going to make a quilt out of it. So there!!!

My FIL just passed away and among his things at the nursing home is a poly lap quilt his dear aunt had when she was in the nursing home. Okay do I save it for my or DH's trip to the nursing home? Will keep it either way.

I've actually had an offer from the board. I am checking with the family to make extra extra sure they don't want it, then off it goes to a new home in a colder climate! Long Live the Hot Pants!

BTW: I had only two pairs of bell bottoms -- both double knit!! -- a brown pair and a green pair!! I used to wear them with bodysuits!!!! YIKES!!!!!! What fun those were when you had to use the bathroom!!!!
Me, too. Me, too. Only mine were bright yellow and the bells were least 60 inches diameter, with a sleeveless vest that reached almost to the knees - Thank you Sonny and Cher!!!
