Great quilts. You 'sounded' a little surprised that she had these quilts. Did you know about them? I'd definitly get the history behind them - in writing or on video would be nice.

Do you think the picture of the quilt with the NICKEL on it could be the original NICKEL QUILT!??? and we just enlarged it to 5 INCHES?

Sharon b....unfortunately her memory is going. She did remember that the postage stamp was made by her Gramma Rosy...my DH great grandmother.

quiltsRfun....I had no idea she had all these treasures. My DH has a quilt made by his grandmother, so I did know that there were quilters in his family. MIL is a hoarder, so who knows what else we may find!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for looking and for your warm comments. I wish there was some way to post "touchy/feely" pix. ;)
